Anthropic says earlier founder and employee pledges bring the total committed to public purposes to about 20% of its shares.

Anthropic said on October 18, 2026 that it will move 5% of its shares into the Anthropic Public Benefit Fund, a new entity the company wholly owns. The board can add up to 2% more for every 50% rise in Anthropic's value over a baseline it has not published yet. None of it can go to lobbying or political donations. Update: OpenAI Refunds API Credits Lost in OpenCode Breach

Gradient says 18 combinations of AI model and agent software solved between 1 and 15 tasks, and none solved all 17. That gives readers a way to compare tools on building a whole program, though the scores are Gradient's own measurements. Read more ↗
